The presentation will answer the following questions: What are ROR letters and what should/must they include? What may be the consequences for an insurer’s failure to provide a comprehensive ROR? Are insureds entitled to independent counsel when an ROR has been issued? What impact can RORs have on litigation and settlement? What, if any, precautions should defense counsel take to protect clients when an ROR has been issued? When should coverage counsel be involved and what role can they play?
